Last week, we spent three days in an Airbnb cabin in the mountains of Asheville, NC with Steve’s folks and Ian. To accommodate multi-generational and diverse group with differing neurological and mobility abilities, we decided that this wood-lined cabin with a common area was a better bet than two hotel rooms. This way, we would have common areas for chatting and eating. It worked out.
The best thing to do in Asheville is the Biltmore estate, but it wasn’t optimal for this group, so we skipped it this trip. Pictures of the Biltmore from a previous trip here. But there was still plenty to do to keep amused. We hiked. We visited the Arboretum. We shopped. We saw music and ate local grub. It was nice. If we had more time, we would have gone horse back riding and hiked more mountains.
