I submitted the paperwork to get put on the ballot in November. Well, not quite. I left one page of the paperwork in the copy machine at home, so I have to go back tomorrow. Ugh! I took my boys with me and got the best cheese burgers at White Manna. Fun day! Good morning! About 22 years ago, we all met at the Jacob Javitts playground in Washington Heights with our two-year old babies. A great night eating grilled cheese, drinking wine, and talking about Succession. The babies are grown, but we haven’t stopped talking. @sallycaswellhat @roberttelenick @acemcdade @324lizer324 @patricioscalderon Great night at last night’s @ridgewoodhistoricalsociety Gala at @felinarestaurants with Julie Mchedlishvili. Yes, we’re running for the School Board. More info soon! With Jonah and Steve out doing manly stuff in the woods this weekend, Ian had our own fun. With busses, trains, subways, and our own feet (22k steps), we explored the city and had great Chinese food. We miss the other dudes, but aren’t really sad to miss out on bugs and bad wifi. 4 scones this morning. Calories don’t count during the coronation! Such great dresses and pageantry this morning. First our bathrooms fell apart. Last week, our boiler broke. This morning, we woke up to find that our kitchen sink detached from the counter top and fell into the bottom cabinet. I miss being a renter. Yesterday, I looked at old books in the magnificent Park Avenue Armory. Love the ancient woodwork and light fixtures. Later, Steve and Ian scooped me up for happy hour tacos at Canyon Road on 76th. So much fun at the @nybookfair at the Park Avenue Armory. On weekends, I love to hunt for old books at estate sales. Over the years, I’ve gotten really lucky. Conventions like this help train my eye to spot the good stuff. This time, I made connections with sellers who can help find a home to some more unique items. Next up, pictures of the Armory itself. Such a cool building!
