That's basically what I do, without the hot pepper flakes (though that's in the sauce sometimes). Cooking meat in the…

Ian’s hard at work. Always. Had a fabulous meal at @reillyspiermont with Skip and Mo. The owner treated us to Irish coffee with Roe and Coe whiskey and warned us off Jamison. Plotting our trip to Dublin in 2024. Happy New Year! With @joyous_snaps Three social plans for the weekend — either cancelled or massively reduced in numbers by illnesses. We’re healthy but eating extra veggies for dinner tonight. And Steve’s ravioli. Ice skating at the American Dream Mall in the Meadowlands. Massive and tacky and crowded, this mall isn’t my cup of tea, but Ian had a good time, and skating is always fun. Sunday was homemade pasta night. An activity with the autistic boy who loves to eat. Yesterday, Steve, Ian, and I roamed around New Paltz. Walked on the rail trail for 1-1/2 hours, checked out the old Huguenot settlement, and then had a lovely lunch at the Huckleberry Cafe. We ate some seriously wonderful food last night. There was a lot of it. And it was all very rich. Two glasses of wine and a margarita. All awesome, but not the best meal before a New Year’s Day 5K. But still glad I did it all! Let 2023 be about doing it all! Perfect misty night in the West Village.
