Going to War?

Are we on the road to a nuclear war in North Korea?

  1. I decided to ignore the questions in this post and instead click on the flashback link on your Lake George Vacation in 2009 (why does your blog think that’s a related post?). Much more enjoyable. And look at J, looking so so very little.

  2. I don’t know the answer to the North Korea question, but based on the number of comments it looks like people are much more concerned about Chris Pratt and Anna Faris.

But seriously, no one has ever known what to do about North Korea. I have a friend who has some distant relatives there, and while you can sneak in some money (though China, I think), it is an extraordinarily closed society.

Seoul, a city of 11 million, is 35 miles from the North Korean border. That’s half as far as I have to drive to the nearest Indian restaurant.

I’m aware that I’m not answering the question, but the weirdness of it all is just incredible.

  3. This is like somebody read the books on why nuclear deterrence was a bad idea and wrote an overly direct made-for-tv movie about it.
