  1. Absolutely, pregnancy should be treated as a temporary disability, with pregnant workers required under law to be accommodated just like injured workers. It doesn’t benefit anyone for pregnant workers to lose their jobs just when they need them the most.

  2. For no reason at all, I’m going to point out that I just drank from 5:00 to 10:00 at $2.00 per round. I didn’t get anybody pregnant or run for president, but only because the bus showed up.

  3. FWIW, I will cosign the accuracy of that dialect map for Illinois. It’s the only one I’ve seen that gets south of I-80 right. All along the I-55 (rust-belt) corridor is “inland north” just like the rest of the rust belt. No other dialect map gets this right.
