Random observation of the day. Silk stocking used to be a sign of wealth.

Now, it's a sign of wealth that you can wear a dress without stockings, because your spider veins were zapped, your white skin is covered under layers of spray tan, your toes polished, bunions removed, and callouses shaved down. 

UPDATE: And your hair removed with lasers or hot wax. (thanks, kc)

  2. And you can afford to take town cars everywhere so that in winter, you can flaunt those bare legs while the rest of us are shrouded in black opaque tights.

  5. Everything except the spray-tan I might say okay to, but spray-tan looks like cheap, trashy crap no matter how it’s done, so those who have it done look bad, too, not like they have lots of money. (Yes, some wealthy people do it, too, yet still manage to look awful.)
