Renovating two bathrooms was not on my bingo card for 2023.

A backyard hot tub was on my bingo card. But you can’t always get what you want. Especially, when the rotting wood and shitty plumbing becomes a crisis that couldn’t be ignored. Later, when the floor was ripped up, we realized that we were in danger of the shower falling through the floor and into the basement.

So, 2023 was the year of two bathrooms and zero hot tubs. As it turns out, I love having a shower that reliably produces hot water and is just beautiful. Here’s the masterbath:
