I twittered Obama's health care speech for all 80 of my followers. Actually, about 40 of those followers are advertising online p*rn sites. Odds are they weren't interested in my snarky commentary, but who knows.
It was actually very fun to read the tweets from others as I had CNN streaming the speech live on the computer. Steve and Jonah watched over my shoulder. Ian dressed up as a Roman and marched around the room, which was very appropriate.
The consensus? This was a damn good speech. It turned the corner when Obama played the Ted card. The Republican follow up was just awful. Dr. Zismor, for those who have taken a subway. Lots of snark from the Twitter People about crappy commentary coming out Louisiana.
And Michelle covered her arms tonight, because not every night is an abs night.

A great speech; no more needs to be said. Except, of course, that Representative Joe Wilson is a complete ass.

Seems like progressives liked it, hard core conservatives hated it but what about independents? I am heartened by the fact that a friend who is a moderate Republican liked it and thought Obama made good points. I think he was convinced on the moral argument.Agreed that Joe Wilson is an ass but unfortunately his assholery probably won him votes in his district.
