Groomers, Bullies, and Raging Waters: Five for Friday, July 25, 2025

A summer cold has settled into my throat. I have the voice of a granny with a three-pack-a-day habit and a taste for whiskey. I kinda like it.

Being sick has gotten me out of a couple of work commitments and dinner responsibilities. Steve and I are picking up ramen soup from town. Which suits me fine. Gives me time to give this newsletter a little love.

It’s Friday! Let’s do some fun stuff.

The Macrons v. Candace Owen

Of course, my favorite story of the day is that the Macrons are suing Candace Owens for claiming that Brigitte is a man

It’s hysterical because Brigitte is not a man. But she is a groomer. She was Emmanuel’s drama teacher when he was 15, and she was 39. Her daughter dated him first. Nowadays, she would have done some hard prison time for that.

Now, why couldn’t Candance have gone with the truth? She could have said that Brigitte Macron is an old groomer with a wig. Instead, Candace had to say that Brigitte is a trannie, because she is dumb.

And now she’s getting sued in a Delaware Superior Court for waging a “campaign of global humiliation” and engaging in “relentless bullying.” The Macrons have no chance of winning the case in the United States with our pesky First Amendment, but good for them for trying.

  1. I’m not a lawyer, but the standard Macron needs to meet is to prove that Owens made false statements with “malice.” That doesn’t seem life a very big lift given Owens’s actions.
