Wellness: The Post Dinner Walk

I put on a little poundage this year, so I’m doubling down on healthy living.

We’re eating at home as much as possible. I stopped drinking wine with dinner, except for special meals. I started taking yoga lessons at the YMCA, because I need to stretch out more and use my arm muscles.

Another addition to our wellness regime is the after-dinner walk. After we throw the leftovers in the fridge, we walk a couple of miles through our quiet community. In addition to walking off dessert, we end up chatting with the neighbors and checking out our house at night — all fun.
