It’s some sort of a son’s day on Facebook today, I think. Here’s Jonah in 2006 with some boys at the NJ Botanical Gardens. Despite the boys’ hair color, they are just some random kids, no relation.

Next year, we’ll put in a deck and new pavers and a HOT TUB.

Over the weekend, I bought a shit-load of books.

I’m slowly sorting through them all — there’s probably 300 books there — and taking pictures for my Etsy shop. I scored big at one house. I bought their dusty sets of encyclopedias and literature sets for $200, which I might list for $4,000 to $7,000. It’s going to take all week to organize, post, and store those books, but it’s mostly fun.

I like the door color; it’s very cheerful.

I am no doubt showing my age, but those back stairs make me nervous. I would put a safety railing on the sides. I could just see a visitor walking off the wrong side of the pentagon, in the dark.

Yeah, it’s a problem, especially when my parents come over. We’re going to have build a deck, because they can’t handle the stairs and we eat outside a lot in the summer.
