Are we worried about ISIS? Hanifa’s Story: Five Sisters Taken by ISIS
A while back, I did an academic paper on Internet usage and income/education. It was a theoretical paper, that set the ground for research that never happened. The Upshot had a nice piece about search terms in wealthy states versus poor states. Popular search terms in poor states include “severe itching” and “dog benadryl.” Really fascinating.

Upshot doesn’t appear to have included cost of living, or demographics in their hardest/easiest to live counties. Many of the hardest search terms would seem to be associated with age (hypertension).

If I lived in parts of the world with many Baptists, I’d have to search terms too, to figure out what they were talking about.
DC’s not doing too well when it comes to death rates: http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/databriefs/db99.htm. Wyoming neither, although it’s solid green on the NYT map. “Doing better,” but you’re not living as long as your cousin in Florida.
