Is it the new thing to have the pants be that short? I thought you weren’t supposed to see ankles, but I probably missed the change in fashion.

I love looking at the pictures from the costume ball. I wish everyone got with the program and wore a costume. There were some interesting Zac Posen and Oscar De La Renta gowns, and then some outfits that looked like prom dresses (maybe on purpose?), and some ordinary pretty dresses. The men wearing tails, pocket watches, and carrying canes were great, especially the really tall guy — probably a basketball player. Boo to the ones who just wore tuxes.
