It would be so much for to renovate an old department store.
It’s hard to be FLOTUS.
Should childless people pay more taxes than people with kids?
Leave saving the world to the men? I don't think so.

I know a family with four kids that renovated an empty department store downtown and I’ve been to the house a couple times–it’s the only real loft I’ve seen in person. It was a multi-year project with major structural issues. There are simply acres of hardwood floors. It really does work as a house, but I’m thinking they’ve got to have very regular cleaning help. The family lives in a single second floor and they have a commercial space on the first floor.

That 25 basics to wear link…all the clothes and accessories are SO PREPPY in shape, detail, everything but color. It reminds me of 1980 photographed in black-and-white.

If I recall correctly, the highest German court decreed a few years ago that families with children should be given preferential treatment by the tax authorities. I seem to recall the argument was, parents were educating and rearing the next generation of citizens, and thus should not be financially penalized. The implications would be, if those with children are taxed at lower rates, the rest would be taxed at higher rates.
