Wall Street Journal today had an article about ‘students’ taking loans for the purpose of living expenses, when there might be no classes, no progress toward a degree. A dad with five kids taking student loans to top up his $10/hour as a security guard. This is NOT going to end well, looks like disguised welfare in many cases but they will spend their forties being harassed by debt collectors. Fifties, too.
