I'm enjoying flipping through the slide show at New York magazine. I would totally wear Christina Ricci's dress. Love plaid. 

Uma looks pretty awesome, too. Kim Kardashian is dressed like her grandmother's sofa. 

And here's what everyone looks like the next day with a hangover. 

Check out all the great square shaped sunglasses on the hangovered stars. Ray-Bans. Glad that they are back in style, because that's the only shape that looks good on round faces like mine.

  1. Anna Wintour also looked like she was wearing a couch or drapes. And Madonna, it just seemed like she was trying too hard. I thought Gwenyth Paltrow’s dress was lovely. Kim should’ve shown some cleavage. Covering up those girls just made her look more matronly. The Jennifer Lawrence/Sarah Jessica Parker photobomb was my favorite part of the event.

  2. They all seemed to miss the point/spirit of punk. It saddens me to see punk turned into a few accessories. Bleh!

  4. It was never all about the heroin. it is funny though to see big name stars wearing big name designers and saying they are punk – or is that “punk”.
    And really – I get the plaid, that actually has punk roots. But most of them seem to have no clue at all. And, where is the leather, rubber and vinyl?

  5. Wait, there was a theme? The fact that I didn’t get it at all probably means they didn’t succeed (though it’s possible that some didn’t follow the theme). Is Paltrow’s dress supposed to be “punk”? Certainly not Wintour’s? (I like Wintour’s dress, and don’t think it looks like a sofa, maybe wicker? but, still pretty).

  7. Yeah, there was a theme. It explains Sarah Jessica Parker’s hair. Paltrow says she didn’t bother to dress the theme.
