Should we rename the term, "fiscal cliff?" 

Wow. Kate Moss was beautiful before all the coke went up her nose. 

I LOVE cheap winter coats in hot colors. They won't hold up after a year or two and they don't necessarily keep you warm, but they are totally cute. For $35, it's easy to be risky. My pick of the year is this hot pink number at Old Navy, though I will have to probably go for the animal print version. The yellow is nice, too.

  1. I’m all for “Showdown in the DC Corral” instead of fiscal cliff.
    I like that hot pink coat – it’s popping! I have a red wool coat I bought three years ago from Old Navy and, surprisingly, it’s still holding up beautifully and keeps me warm down to -20C (below that, I break out my serious parka).

  3. The cheap winter coat IS a good item. Out here on the west coast I need a rain coat instead but there isn’t much of a choice style-wise. The ubiquitous “mommy” rain coast is Lululemon. Otherwise it’s shapeless, old lady coats. Or goretex and more goretex.
    Need something a little more urban and gritty…
