Stress levels went to 11 last week for a wide variety of reasons, and I somehow forgot how to blog and write. I'm putting the training wheels back on this morning with some a simple linky-link post.

I agree with the made up opinion that HC was criticizing Holden Caulfield (or, alternatively, agreeing with Sophie’s criticism of Holden).
The only flaw in that argument is that Holden was clinically depressed/eventually insane, right? Telling clinically depressed people not to whine is not particularly effective.

I actually thought, as I read your description too fast, that it said “from slaves”- that we found pics that slaves took themselves. Now I’m wondering if such photos, (daguerreotypes?) exist…
