  2. This article (on charters and segregation) appeared not too long ago.

    I didn’t read the whole thing, but it seems to me wrong-headed to think that if the NYC school system is only 15% white, that anything resembling integration is feasible. There just aren’t enough white kids to spread around, and their parents undoubtedly have other ideas.
