I'm trying to beat down a sinus infection before I get on a plane tomorrow evening. So, just some links this morning.
Katie Allison Granju, who blogs at MamaPundit, has started a new blog chronically her son's death and the subsequent investigation.
Jeremy S. sent me a link to an opinion piece by Reihan Salam. Salam says that that kids should be learning at their own pace using video lectures and then coming to school for help with homework. There are definitely times when video lectures are appropriate, but the classroom experience (when it's done right) is a powerful learning tool.
A slide show of a funky old house.

If I look at the slide show, does it count as one story or is each slide a separate story. Soon, you only get 20 stories before you have to pay the NYT.

I have been following the Katie Granju story for a while and have read the new blog.
I just keep thinking one Saturday night it will be on 48 hours mystery or a similar show, with a corrupt police force and a thriving prescription drug addicted market that fuel the corruption/prostitution and donations to politicians.
