Usually, I think reports of this kind of stuff are either fake, or from non-english speakers. This looks like a clueless American.
Is there any way to guard against this kind of thing in online classes? You have to get someone else to cheat with you, and they have to be smart enough to take classes, which in a good world would mean they could have something better to do. But, with the economy in the state it’s in, folks might be available for this kind of gig.

Cranberry, there is a preppy woman I work with- in her mid-60’s- who refers to herself and everyone else as “the girls”. I think it’s a thing for that set.
