American Idol sucks worse than usual this season. Ellen is sinking her career by making self-indulgent jokes and showing her ignorance about music. Almost all of the contestants are awful. Steve said he read some  crack about them being back-up singers for H. R. Pufnstuf. I've been taping the show and then just watching this Crystal Bowersox. She's awesome.

  1. I think it was Ken Levine who made the H.R. Pufnstuf crack.
    My TiVo auto-recorded Idol as a suggestion Tuesday and I watched Bowersox’s performance just to see what the fuss was about. She’s definitely a good singer. Whether that translates into being someone whose albums I’d buy is a different question, though.
