Apt. 11d 
There is too much stuff in that apartment (I’d take aim at the knick knacks), but I give him points for the fact that it’s mostly functional stuff and that underneath the clutter, it’s a very pretty room apartment. I have a subscription to House Beautiful ($1 an issue or so) and I often think that a lot of their rooms could be improved by removing half the furnishings.

Ooh – I so agree with you on that apartment. As I was looking at those pictures, I was thinking – THIS qualifies for a spread in the NYTimes? It’s only in there because he works for an “upscale architecture and design firm.” If I had put together this apartment (a lowly political scientist), they would have NEVER have run this bit.

God, I must be cranky, but the copyright infringement of the Calvin thing really irritates the heck out of me. Watterson has been about as clear as anyone can be that he doesn’t want his stuff reproduced, and he gave up millions for the principal. Pulling all the themed comics together and posting them on your site? It’s just rude.
