The Internet Changes Everything

I have a pile of links on the Internet and politics. This is a quick link dump:

Micah Sifry discusses the role of the Internet in the Brown vs. Coakley race.

Ethan Zuckerman reports that twitter and texting fuel an earthquake hoax in Ghana.

Text donations to the Red Cross for Haiti now at $8 million. Much of this was fueled by Twitter.  Overall, Americans donated $150 million in four days to Haiti. We are a generous people.

Julie G. kindly pointed me toward an article on the use of Twitter in the Ukrainian elections.

The use of Google Maps in Haiti.
