In terms of work/ life balance, it looks that a higher proportion of black women with advanced degrees are opting for the no-spouse/ no-child route.
Raises many interesting questions in my mind, but not clearly enough to formulate . . .

I am so done with MoDowd! She’s the queen of co-opting a topic weeks (months?) after everyone else is done discussing it. I just hate that she’s the marquee female voice on the Times editorial staff. (I have absolutely no time for Gail Collins – snarkery, while entertaining, does not belong on the editorial page.)
