I'm trying something a little different on the blog this week. I have a stack of books on my coffee table that either need to be read for a scholarly paper or for market research for the non-scholarly project. They range from smart and stodgy to lively and silly. I'm going to blog about the books. Instead of doing a polished book reviews, I'm going to do a series of smaller posts on key ideas or charts.
Today's book is Voice and Equality: Civic Voluntarism in American Politics.
