  1. Bird! And Blooms! (Heh, my new favorite magazine.) I’m not much into cat photoblogging, not having pets of any kind due to my son’s allergies, but I’d be into garden photoblogging.
    I like your roses.
I’ve been working on my front yard, which had all the same shrubs that were planted there when the house was built in 1960. Ugh. I had them torn out and have been experimenting. The front yard is sunny, so there’s plenty of stuff I can grow there.

  2. Heh, check my blog. I want to start a garden photoblogging thing. I like cats ok, but they don’t exactly exemplify the connections among art, work, and nurture that so characterize the blogs of working academic moms, huh? 🙂

  3. Wendy,
How about costuming cats as Jane Austen heroines (or whatever your literary cup of tea is these days) and photographing them in your garden? When I was a kid, the Portland TV station had their weather done by “Bob the Weather Cat,” looking indignant in various costumes. It must have been a popular feature, since when Bob retired/passed on/etc. a second cat took his place.
