Spreadin’ Love

The 50 most influential US political pundits.

I love cheap, trendy clothes.

Read this commenter’s story about the academic life before you take those GREs.

Megan speculates why academics are bitter. Dan and Megan pick up the conversation here. I’m going to have to post about this.

Gail Collins does some good old fashioned man bashing. But then has so much fodder this week: Bill Clinton, Rev. Wright, Billy Ray Cyrus.

Great post from Elizabeth on the whether or not flexible work hours should limited to parents or be available to all people.

  1. Do other people find blogging heads to be completely incomprehensible? Or does this show that I’m hopelessly behind the times (like with text messaging, another phenomenon I completely don’t understand).
I think both Dan and Megan are interesting to read have no interest in hearing them chatter. But, I guess that could just be me — I love Obama, but still prefer reading his speeches to hearing them.

  2. PS: Those little columnist photographs at the times even bother me. I preferred to read all their words when I didn’t really know what they looked like and I don’t like having their pictures in my face with every article.

  3. I may also be behind the times as I’ve never watched one of the blogging head shows even though I also read both Dan and Megan. I don’t have any speakers on my computer (sort of deliberately). I finally gave in and started sending text messages. Until recently, when somebody sent me a text message, I’d just call them back.
