Ow. I almost posted something on “Gladwell’s” Risk Pool article in the New Yorker. I liked the history section of the article, but something about the economics he described didn’t add up, but since I’m not an economist I let it go. Jane Galt didn’t let it go. Then he responded waaay too fast and then sort of apologized.

umm… except Crooked Timber doesn’t contain any advertising or requests for subs, and didn’t rip our name off from the finest achievement of Harold Wilson’s 1964-70 government…. And none of us are as famous as some of them, of course!
