Spreadin’ Love

Take That, Tribble!: Dan Drezner’s happy ending in Slate and Rebecca A. Goertz in The Chronicle of Higher Education.

Breaking News on the Baby Fads: Ferber is out; Sex Ed is In.

Pajama Media/Open Sores: My Dad and I are shooting each other angry links about this project. Here is some of the controversy: Althouse, Jarvis, and even Drezner.

Ann Althouse asks for a feminist! After Ann criticized PM/OSM media, the Little Green Football wackjobs lived up to their reputation. Ann says that male attacks on women are not so much of a food fight as a sex fight. Blogosphere-strength fighting with a woman takes on an outrageous sexual tone, aggressively declaring that that this is a boy’s game. Are there any feminists around to see when it’s happening and say a little something?

Thanks, Lauren. It was very funny. Loved the line about clean up in aisle 8. But I don’t think that Althouse is a social conservative. She’s a libertarian and a law professor. She may not be in the feminist blog circles, but I don’t think she’s anti-feminism. And Althouse made an interesting observation about the vile attacks from the LGF creeps; their attacks had a sexual edge to them. I would be interested to hear if other women bloggers had this happen to them.
