Dan Drezner liveblogs a Brookings Conference on blogging. He’s geeky, but he’s cute.
And more on Schiavo. Both sides, according to my blogroll:
Tom DeLay hides behind Schiavo, by Josh Marshall.
Oh, more live Brooking blogging from Laura Rozen.
Andrew Sullivan offers interesting analysis of the conflicting messages of conservatives. States Rights v. God. (Of course, the conflict goes both ways. Both liberals and conservatives will carry the banner of states rights if it suits their purpose. I think the bigger conflict is between libertarians and social conservatives.)
The UK perspective.
OK, skimming the blogroll…looking for something from the other point of view, because I’m geeky, but cute, too….
Flip to The Volokh Conspiracy for links. They refer to Hugh Hewitt.
…crap… I have to go to bed… But a quick note to the 1,000 people who showed up here today by googling “shiavo.” It’s spelled sChiavo, folks.

I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but who knows. the drawer I’m looking at doesn’t appear to be too well stocked.
It seems to me that Terry’s “husband”, having entered into a common-law marriage and having issues from that union, he is therefore guilty of the crime of bigamy. This charge constitutes a felony charge and would force, with his arrest, the state to take custody of Terry pending his arrignment.
This may be off the wall, but I can’t see that anyone has tried this venue. Forgive the spelling and if possible, pass this along and get back to me.
Thanks,

Michael Schiavo is not a bigamist. There is no such thing as common-law marriage in Florida, and he has never tried to marry without divorcing Terry first.
You may not like it, but he is her husband.
Personally, I would be grateful to my spouse if he were to sacrifice as much to protect my wishes as Michael Schiavo has done. I would not begrudge him happiness and companionship with another human being, and the oppportunity to have children, when I could no longer give him either one.
I started out questioning Mr. Schiavo’s motives, but the more I’ve read (including the report from the guardian ad litem appointed by the Florida court), the more convinced I am that he’s done the honorable thing—and at great personal cost to himself.

I see Rep. Delay had no problem when his own father’s horrible fate called for compassion.
