Interesting conversation between Sara Butler and Ampersand about the different definitions of feminism and how conservatives have missed the chick boat. In the past, I feel that feminism has been either defined too narrowly (pro-choice) or too broadly (women should have the same opportunities as men) or in terms of a life-style (we’re tough and cute and in your face, dude). I’m following this discussion to see how feminism is evolving.

Dan also posted on the ramifications of the increased number of women doctors. Not only are the patients (especially the poor) getting better care, but female physicians are are pioneering a trend toward part-time work and rebelling against the extremely long hours often associated with the profession.
