Yesterday, we hosted Easter dinner, our first semi-indoor family gathering in over a year. With 19 folks, including some teenagers whose large appetites count for two people, Steve and I cooked all day. Here’s what things looked like: (Click on one of the pictures to start the photo show.)
The backyard dinner area. Bright warm sunny, finally. Appreciate my nice center pieces. Rosemary plant in IKEA planters and tablecloths. Scallop designs on both. Ina Garten’s buttermilk cornbread. We also celebrated April birthdays. But no blowing out candles on the cake, because COVID. So, they blew out votive candles. Pretty little chocolates in tea cups. Martha Stewart’s Mac n Cheese. And Smoked Virginia ham. Mom is fulling the mashed potatoes. Buffet style, so people could eat where they wanted. More food pics.
