Hi, all! Just dropping in for a moment to give an update.

I spent six months running for a local office. Learned a lot, met some good people, and lost. I was disappointed on Tuesday night, for sure, but not hugely.

I’m excited to return to writing. As I learned, one can’t be a writer and hold political office at the same time. There’s always a danger that an innocent sentence could be twisted by Internet trolls and ridiculed on a local site. Also, I just didn’t have time. I worked 14 hour days, seven days a week for months on this campaign. I’m actually physically exhausted.

So, give me another day or two to recover with long walk/runs and shopping therapy. I’ll do something tomorrow.
