I just spent twenty minutes trying to figure out the Talking Points Memo Cafe. Potentially it’s quite nice. Matthew Yglesias is now blogging there. There’s Elizabeth Warren, who writes stuff on the middle class family. Some good stuff there.

But it’s very confusing. How do you find your favorite author? Who are these other bloggers? How is this organized? I found posts by Ann Lamott last week, but can’t this morning. Where did she go?

I know all this diary stuff is in now, but it takes so much effort to learn about one blogger’s life and political viewpoint. This is just too much information.

Blogs must be quick gulps of info or eye candy. TMPcafe is too time intensive for me.

On the other hand, Blogrunner’s Annotated Times was very useful.
