I've been blogging for five years now. One of the annoying things about blogging is that there are certain conversations that cycle through the blogosphere. The first time the topic comes up, you and your fellow bloggers and commenters dive into the topic, hash things out and come to some sort of a conclusion. Then some new guys come around a year later and have the same conversation. You roll your eyes, say whatever, and spend more time on Twitter.

A few years back there was a big fight about where the women political bloggers were. Some guys said, "How come those chicks just wanted to talk about their kids and clothes, and didn't want to talk  about real important political stuff"? Then a bunch of women political bloggers said, "shut up. Here I am. You big, sexist asshole."

Fast forward to today. There are very well established women political bloggers. Not as many as the guys, but still enough to shut down any conversation that begins with, "all women bloggers are…." Still, there's no doubt that women bloggers are mostly in the diary/house and home type of blogs. And they're great. Many are beautifully arranged and photographed.
