The Morning After

How tired am I? The school bus cometh and careth not if I stayed up half the night watching election coverage. I’m heading out for stronger coffee in a minute, but just wanted to add more thoughts and links.

Did anybody see CNN’s blog party? What a stupid idea. They plop a bunch of bloggers on sofas with their laptops, pan the camera around there every so often, and spout wise thoughts like “Bloggers are very important.” It’s a nod to the hip kids. It was boring TV. I don’t really want to watch bloggers blogging. CNN didn’t talk to them. The bloggers didn’t have any edge on information by being together in one room. They weren’t talking to each other, though Ann Althouse was taking pictures of the buffet. That was useful.

I was wading around the political blogs in my bloglines list last night, but this morning I ventured into the personal ones. Great stories from Dooce and Phantom Scribbler.

Still chuckling over the Yousta-Bees.

UPDATES: Much glee at le blog Berube, Kos on SD. More talk on the regional political gulfs from Jacob Levy and Jody. Sam Crane says Hevesi should resign.
