Perhaps we counted Couric dead too quickly. She sure has bounced back with her interviews with Palin. Those interviews have been played again and again across the blogosphere. Couric’s name is one of the top google searches.

I’m not sure how much kudos Couric deserves. 1. It doesn’t take much skill to make Palin look dumb. Palin really steps in it on her own. 2. Couric does little to disguise her distaste for the woman and put on an objective reporter face. Have the conservative bloggers picked up that she was flirting with Obama during the interviews? She giggled like a school girl. 3. Couric is clearly reading from prepared notes.

But you have to give Katie credit for pressing Palin to answer the questions and not ramble on. Those interviews have been highly amusing.
