It’s 10:30 am, and I have been charging around the house since 6 am taking care of parenting duties. One kid needed edits on a history essay that was due at 8:30am. The other kid had to have his bags packed for a two-day Revolutionary War reenactment at his elementary school. The next four weeks are back-to-back meetings and appointments and class trips and preparations for camp. It’s all good stuff. There’s lots of learning and fun happening. It’s just a lot.
This is Ian dressed as a Revolutionary War soldier. He and his classmates sewed the cap and the bag.
