Last Sunday, we took the boys to the Met and stumbled onto an amazing exhibit by Thomas Hart Benton. I’m a huge sucker for Benton and all the WPA artists. The Smithsonian has a great article about these murals. 

Then we roamed around the New American Wing, where I geeked out on this color combination.

When the savages began to sigh heavily, it was time to go home.
