Too Much of a Good Thing

The 11D family is fairly exhausted right now. June is always that way. Guests, BBQs, end of the year school performances, track meets, are all fantastic, but there's a lot of behind the scenes work that goes into all that. Guest towels, ironed shirts and ties, clean track shirts, side dishes, meticulous calendars, and late nights. As a result, some routine chores haven't happened. Our lawn hasn't been mowed in two weeks. Our neighbors with the manicured lawns must be very irritated with us. Also, we haven't had time to just sit. Sitting is a very good thing.

I wrote a lot this week. I have three new guest posts at Megan's blog. (Thanks to Megan for that opportunity.) The blog post about autism finances is still getting bounced around the Internet. I spent too many hours spying on its progress. How many links on Twitter? What are the commenters saying? How many Facebook likes? All that information is useful, but perhaps I didn't need to spend all that time babysitting the blog posts.

Well, I need to go pick up around the house. Another guest will arrive in an hour.
