I’m itching to get my hands on some new non-fiction books this Christmas. These books are on my list:
- Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption
(Laura Hillenbrand is a fantastic author. Seabiscuit is one of my all time favorites. I also love her essay about overcoming cronic fatigue syndrome.)
- Autobiography of Mark Twain, Vol. 1
(Three of you have already ordered this book through one of my links. Thanks!)
- The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks
by Rebecca Skloot
- The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine
by Michael Lewis (I read this book a few weeks ago. Lewis has the gift of being able explain complicated money stuff, while writing compelling character studies.)
- Just Kids
by Patti Smith (She’s just so cool.)
- Changing My Mind: Occasional Essays
by Zadie Smith (I really loved her essay on Facebook this year.)
