Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, and Good Tidings for All.

Thanks so much to my regular readers at Apt. 11D. Some of us have been together for ten, even twenty years. I appreciate your loyalty even though I’m mostly at Substack these days.

Have a great holiday or snooze on the sofa. Whatever you’re doing for the next few days, I hope it’s super fun.

  1. Merry Christmas. We’re going with my family’s tradition of eating Italian food on Christmas Eve, but my personal addition is being lazy, so meatballs and spaghetti instead of fish.

  2. It’s a quiet getting-over-Covid Christmas for us. A mild, bad cold level case for us both; I think I picked it up at graduation. So we’re not with my parents – even the short trip was unappealing and they are quite high risk. Maybe we’ll make it there next week.

Now that I have energy back this does give me a little time to send Christmas cards and do a bit of baking, so it’s not too bad.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! It is hard to believe it’s been 20 years.
