Gift Guide 2014 – The Round-Up

Y’all have finished shopping, right? I haven’t, but we’re on the home stretch. I have a few miscellaneous items for this last gift guide blog post. Thanks again for shopping through Apt. 11D. Best year evah!

It’s a set of books about video games, so that’s good. Minecraft: The Complete Handbook Collection.

I’ve pooh-poohed kitchen gadgets in the past. Last year, I broke down and got a Hot Air Popcorn Maker and a a juicer. And we use them all the time. So, maybe we should get a SodaStream Fountain Jet Home Soda Maker Starter Kit, Black and Silver.

A misty blue scarf from the MOMA store.

Classics with great covers. Jane Eyre (Penguin Classics) [Hardcover]  or Major Works of Charles Dickens (Great Expectations / Hard Times / Oliver Twist / A Christmas Carol / Bleak House / A Tale of Two Cities)

90 percent of purses are too girlie for me. I hate logos. So, I like this this Fossil purse. It’s subtle and sturdy. Fossil Sydney Satchel

NYC’s public radio show had a fantastic intereview with Jeff Koons and Norman Rosenthal about their new book — Jeff Koons: Conversations with Norman Rosenthal.

Framed art on One King’s Lane. This woodcut of a bike in a nice black frame is a bargain at $75.
