1. I became addicted to the Mindy Project this spring, and after the finale, I was in a romantic swoon for days. Let’s just say my students benefitted a lot because I just loved everyone all the time. Chris Messina basically plays a short Italian version of my husband.

2. I like her character’s line from The Office where the women of Dunder Mifflin are having a big Girl Power and empowerment meeting. It’s Kelly Kapoor’s turn to share, and she says something like, “I’ll tell you one thing, I am not gonna be one of those women schlepping her kids around in a minivan.” The facilitator starts to applaud Kelly’s career-mindedness, but Kelly continues, with “I want a SUV… with 3 rows of seats.”
