The superintendent’s robo-call woke us up at 5am. Another snow day. The weather dudes say that this is a three day thing, so the boys and I will be housebound most of the week. Steve has to work no matter what, so he slid through the unplowed streets to the train station this morning.
This snow is different from the last one. It’s thick, like my morning oatmeal. It’s sticking to the bushes and tree branches. There is an eerie white glow outside every window.
The little guy is munching on Rice Krispies upstairs in the kitchen. The big guy will sleep the sleep of a teenager until 11 or so. And I’m going to blog, until the guilt kicks in. Then I’ll take the kids to the soccer field at the corner to sled.
