The college default rate continues to climb. According to the Chronicle, the colleges with highest number of defaulters are beauty and technical schools. Their list of the 104 worst offenders is behind a paywall, but it appears that community colleges are also problems.

Here’s an example of someone who went to college, got a degree, nothing went right for her so she went back to junior college to be a dental hygienist. I think this is happening a lot – people do their degrees, think this is going to work, and then hard realities of getting a living.
