Brain Hurtie

I’ve learned a lot of things in the past week, and my brain hurts.

I’ve learned about blogging platforms.

I’ve learned about camping sites in Maine.

I’ve learned about the cost of fixing the back patio.

I’ve learned that about a new special education class that Ian will attend this fall.

I’ve learned about book agents.

I’ve learned how to calculate the square footage of fabric for a sofa cushion. ((Length + width + depth + 3) / 36)

I’ve learned a little bit, but need to learn more, about state standardized tests and special needs kids.

I’ve learned about Angelina Jolie’s breast cancer mutation gene.

I’ve learned that an old domain name that I own is worth $700.

Question of the Day: What did you learn this week?

  1. My brain hurts, but all I learned is that I need bifocals. Or maybe just two pairs of glasses. I don’t even know how bifocals would work when everything I read is on a screen. Would I have to lean my head back to get the ‘close’ part of the lens so I can see the computer?

  2. to MH: I’ve found that life is better with a second pair of glasses, with a focus range meant for a computer. And the bifocals for the other three or four hours of the day.
