I've been clicking around at Time Magazine Best 25 Blogs of 2012 list for the past fifteen minutes. Two of their highlighted blogs are on my blogroll. I've linked to several others. But there are a few that I've missed in my mornings of Internet Squandering Time. Shocking.
I really liked awesome people hanging out together.

I have learned some things from this:
1) Bruce Springsteen looked older, and Dylan younger, than they were for some time.
2) Paul McCartney probably should have died by now.
3) David Bowie hung out with a lot of “awesome” people, and looked like he was more fun to hang out with than others. (William Burroughs, for example, neither looks like he was fun to hang out with, or like he enjoyed people coming around to hang out with him.)
4) I don’t know who many of the recent “awesome” people are.
5) Steve Martin and Chevy Chase are not doing so well.
6) I really hate the word “awesome”. If we had to recycle an 80’s slang term for “neat”, it would have been better if it had been “rad” or even “tubular”.
