As the number of children with autistic spectrum disorders explodes, the publishing industry has responded with a cottage industry of autism memoirs. I read two last month — George & Sam: Two Boys, One Family, and Autism by Charlotte Moore and All I Can Handle: I'm No Mother Teresa: A Life Raising Three Daughters with Autism
by Kim Stagliano.
I'm writing a book review of these two books, and I thought I would use the blog to help me get the rough draft together and organize my thoughts. (Sorry, you guys get the rough ideas; I'll polish things up for publication somewhere else.) This day is going to be broken up by a trip to the neurologist, so postings will be short and choppy. (Again, sorry.)
