There have been incredibly beautiful pictures of Iceland's volcanic eruptions. This time lapse film of an impossibly named volcano is one of the best. More info here.

my 6 year old’s grandfather has given my son and his kindergarten friends the task of figuring out how to stop the BP oil spill. Grandad thinks that their fresh minds might come up with something that actually works.
Nice volcano, but really, but nothing can beat Kilauea for me. Perhaps if the “dormant” volcano we can see out our window erupted in all it’s glory. We are having to explain that we’re too far away and too far up the hill for the volcano to come to us.
